Student Research Projects

 

Genetech has funded and facilitated student research projects for students from many universities in Sri Lanka. The under-mentioned research projects were carried out at Genetech and were supervised by Scientists from Genetech.

 

 

 Research leading to the award of PhD:

 

  • Sustainable insect resistance in local rice varieties. Manisha Gunasekera - PhD in Plant Biotechnology, Department of Plant Sciences, University of Colombo, Sri Lanka. 2010 (partially conducted at Genetech).
